Susan E. Proctor, MSW

Susan Proctor is a Clinical Social Worker, licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia.  Susan worked as a hospital social worker and case manager at both The George Washington University Hospital and Suburban Hospital.  She has extensive experience in conducting comprehensive assessments, coordinating complex discharge plans, and providing crisis intervention.  Susan has in-depth knowledge of community resources and extensive experience with Medicare and Medicaid benefits, and entitlement programs.  While at George Washington Hospital, Susan served on the hospital's disaster, ethics and patient education committees. 

In addition to her hospital social work experience, Susan worked as a member of Operation Solace, a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals, implemented by the US Army Surgeon General, that responded to the Pentagon community after September 11th.  Susan provided counseling and assisted with issues related to grief, loss, coping and depression. She also led workshops on stress management.

Susan received her Masters of Social Work from Catholic University and is a member of the National Association of  Social Workers . She has specialized training in basic mediation, divorce mediation and critical incident stress management.
